Directions

FROM BROOKLYN: Belt Parkway (eastbound) to Exit 19 (Van Wyck, Kennedy Airport, Nassau Expressway) over ramp bearing left onto Nassau Expressway. Straight on Expressway, will turn into Rockaway Boulevard/Rockaway Turnpike. Proceed approximately 5 miles to Central Avenue (1st Light over railroad tracks). Turn right on Central Avenue. Proceed about ½ mile. Temple Israel is on the right side of the street.
FROM NEW YORK: Queens Mid-town Tunnel to Long Island Expressway, exit at Van Wyck Expressway toward Kennedy Airport. Follow to exit 1A Belt Parkway, Nassau Expressway bearing right as you follow curve. Exit onto Nassau Expressway. Follow straight, will turn into Boulevard/Rockaway Turnpike. Proceed as above.
FROM THE BRONX: Cross-Bronx Expressway to Bronx-Whitestone Bridge to at Van Wyck Expressway. Or,
Tri-Boro Bridge to the Grand Central Parkway (going to Long Island) to Van Wyck Expressway. Proceed as New York instructions.
FROM LONG ISLAND: Southern State Parkway (westbound) to Peninsula Boulevard, exit 19 (2nd exit under bridge). Follow Peninsula Boulevard to Rockaway Turnpike. Turn left at Rockaway Turnpike and proceed as in Brooklyn instructions
