Below is a thank you letter to our congregation for its assistance last year with the Passover Appeal addressed to Mrs. Betsy Kass c/o Temple Israel.

Dear Betsy,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the effort you extended on behalf of the Combined Passover Fund. You should be proud that your congregation raised $4,362. Without your assistance we would have been unable to meet the needs of the Jewish poor in the community.

We at the Jewish Services Coalition and Jewish Community Council are well aware of the monumental job that you undertook.

All recipients of our assistance are either on welfare or on Medicaid with very low fixed incomes. Your act of charity enabled so many people to enjoy the holiday.
