Temple Israel of Lawrence will celebrate National Jewish Music Month with a program of music by Leonard Bernstein. The program will follow the Friday evening worship service led by Rabbi Allen Kaplan.

Cantor Oreen Zeitlin and the Temple Israel Choir conducted by organist Matthew Lewis, will perform selections from Jewish liturgy and The Chichester Psalms, as well as favorite songs from West Side Story, Candide and other musicals.

Services begin at 8:00 PM followed by the Music Festival. There will be a coffee hour after the program where you can meet the congregation as well as the performers. Temple Israel cordially invites you to come and bring your friends.
