Excitement is in the air as our children are preparing for Purim. It is a most festive time which leads us to lots of fun in the classroom. Puppetry, costume making, noisemakers and dramatic play are very much a part of the creative expression that our young people thrive on. Depending n their moods they may choose to be the beautiful, heroic Queen Esther or the wicked Haman. Aromas of delicious child made Hamentaschen fill the air. Baskets of Mishloach Manot (Purim Treats) were lovingly prepared to share with family and friends.

On Wednesday, March 7th the Purim Festivities begin with the Nursery School staff along with Rabbi Kaplan , Cantor Zeitlin and David Woolfe will present our annual play at 6:30 in the sanctuary. All are invited to attend and wear festive costumes. Refreshments will follow - Don't forget your groggers!

Many of our classrooms will welcome their fathers in school on Sunday, March 18th for a morning filled with classroom fun. How nice it is to share this special time together in a class environment.

Another Camp Open House will take place on Sunday, March 18th from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Please come in for a visit and hear all about Camp. Registration for School 2001-02 has begun and classes are filling quickly.

For information please stop by our office.

Enjoy!
