I hope this New Year bring Health and Happiness into all of your homes. We have all returned from our holiday break ready for more school excitement. Hopefully, winter will arrive soon and show us some seasonal weather so we can focus on our surroundings and the impact it has on our dress and recreation. Our children will be creating a winter-like atmosphere for our halls and their classrooms.

We will also be exploring ourselves and learning all about what makes each one of us special and unique. We will experiment with our senses, discuss all kinds of families and dramatize our emotions. These will talks will empower our children with a new sense of self-awareness.

On Sunday, January 23rd our Pre-K fathers are invited to an Open House in the classroom.

This special morning is set aside to enable daddy to share a sampling of a typical school day.

The children are working toward making this event very special.

A Kindergarten Open-House for those interested in attending September 2000 Kindergarten will be held on Wednesday, January 12th at 7:00 pm in our library. Those interested in registering for our extraordinary program must not miss this overview of the school year with Mrs. Landsman.

Registration for all 2000 programs will begin this month. Please call our office for applications and information. Camp registration is well underway. Please be sure to make arrangements now to insure placement for a terrific Summer 2000.

Our school will be closed on January 13th to enable our teachers to meet with parents. Our Kindergarten and Parenting Centers are in session on this day. We will also be closed on Monday, January 17th in honor of the birthday Martin Luther King Jr.
