ANNOUNCING THE SECOND MUSIC FESTIVAL OF THE SEASON ON FEBRUARY 11, 2000
Shabbat Services begin at 8:00PM with the Festival presenting Both sacred and secular music of the Sephardic Jews and will feature CANTOR ZEITLIN and the Temple Israel Quartet. The music of the Sephardic Jews was written mostly in the Ladino Language (Middle Spanish and Hebrew) and demonstrates lilting Mediterranean melodies. Following the service we would like you to join our Oneg Shabbat where we will serve Middle Eastern Sephardic pastries as a specialty to enhance the musical theme of the evening.
