Congratulations to Jonathan Rosen, son of Mindy & Stephen Rosen, who will become a Bar Mitzvah on February 5. Jonathan has attended Temple Israel for 5 years and has been on the Rabbi’s honor roll each year. He is a student at the Lawrence Middle School where he is involved in National Junior Honor Society, All County Jazz Band, Long Island Strings-Lawrence Philharmonic. He enjoys music.

Congratulations to Maxine Charnoff, daughter of Nancy & Daniel Charnoff, who will become a Bat Mitzvah on February 12. Maxine has attended Temple Israel for 2 years and has been on the Rabbi’s list. She is a student at the Lawrence Middle School. Maxine is on the Hewlett-Lawrence travel soccer team. She also enjoys tennis and softball.

Congratulations to Jennifer Faber, daughter of Nan & Leonard Faber, who will become a Bat Mitzvah on February 12. Jennifer has attended Temple Israel for 3 years. Jennifer has received President’s award, B’nai B’rith award, has been on the Rabbi’s list and on High honor roll. She is a student at the Woodmere Middle School, where she is involved in the school play, “Scrooge,” All County Chorus, NYSSMA and Long Island String Orchestra. Jennifer also plays the Piano and Violin. She enjoys singing, volleyball, swimming and arts.
