Welcome to Temple Israel

Temple Israel of Lawrence is a Reform congregation in which Jews of all denominations, dual-faith families, singles, and students are welcome. Our members are active in a wide spectrum of social action activities to enrich and enlighten our world and our neighborhood.

We have been serving Long Island's South Shore since 1908. We are just minutes from Queens and approximately 30 minutes from Manhattan. We are easily accessible by car or the Long Island Rail Road.
